TWO FREE ATTRACTIONS OPEN IN EILAT:

Two new attractions opened on Tuesday, May 26 in the resort city of Eilat's main park near the tourist area, promising to be a magnet for tourists, visitors and locals alike- Israel's largest musical fountain and an extreme skatepark suitable for professionals and amateurs. Both attractions, built to the highest international standards, are open free of charge to the public.

The musical fountain, which extends over 1,500 square meters, with over 400 colored LED lights and 350 jets spraying water to heights of about 30 meters, will serve as an audio-visual spectacle at night and as a place to enjoy water and fun during the day. Visitors to Eilat can cool off in the water jets during the hot daytime hours - even the stones under foot will be kept at a pleasant cool temperature.

The musical fountain incorporates innovative technology and effects specially created for the project in Eilat, including a sound-system that has never been used before in fountains around the world. In addition, a mobile app is in development that will allow visitors to "control" the water jets.

The fountain show will take place every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00.

The extreme skatepark has been built to an international standard, with stunt tracks for professionals and amateurs and can host international skateboarding competitions. The skatepark will operate on Sundays to Thursdays between noon and 23:00; on Fridays from 09:00-15:00 and Saturdays and holidays from 09:00 - 23:00.
